Bill Rose was a strong and healthy man that was seldom sick and loved the outdoors.  He was an avid sportsman and friendly competition was always welcome.  He also had fair skin, a lotof moles, freckles, fair skin and had beautiful blue eyes that sparkled when he smiled.  In 2006, he went to the dermatologist about the moles on his body.  He was diagnosed with melanoma and had multiple surgeries to remove the lesions from his body. Bill remained melanoma free for 10 years!  Fast forward to 2015.  Bill retired from work after 31 years of service and was looking forward to spending a lot of his time outdoors.  In March, 2016, he became ill with flu like symptoms that were subtle and became worse.  In May, Bill was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. The disease had returned with a vengeance.   He went from being strong and healthy, to a frail man that was skin and bone. Unfortunately, after 4 months of intense treatments, Bill Rose lost his fight to this horribly aggressive disease.   Bill realized the importance of skin protection, education, early detection and research towards finding a cure for Melanoma. Please help us in the effort to reduce the number of families affected by this disease by making a donation to this worthy cause.
